The Method · Six stages
Most brands try to win clicks.
I make sure you are chosen before the click exists.
AI has collapsed the buying process into a single step: recommendation. This is how I work on that step. Six stages, each fixing a different layer of how an assistant finds, understands and chooses your business.
Why the old playbook breaks.
The old system gave you chances. You could rank. You could retarget. You could optimise your way back into the sale. That system depended on friction.
AI removes it. A question is asked. An answer is given. A decision is formed. There is no browsing phase any more. Either you are included, or you are never considered.
AI does not discover your brand. It selects from what it understands.
The six stages.
Every stage has one job. Each one moves you closer to being the business the assistant names, and to converting when it does.
Stage 01
Decision Mapping
I reconstruct how your customers actually decide.
- The real questions they ask before buying
- Intent clusters, from research to purchase
- Constraints that rule you in or out
- Decision triggers and blockers
Stage 02
AI Visibility Audit
I test whether the assistants name you.
- Named or absent, across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
- Which competitors take the answers you want
- The gaps between what you say and what gets repeated
- The external sources those answers are built on
Stage 03
Foundations
I make the business readable and trusted by machines.
- Entity clarity: one consistent story about who you are
- Structured data the models can actually parse
- Crawler access, render speed, and the technical floor
- Third-party consistency across the sources that get cited
- For product businesses: catalogue structure, attributes and feed quality
The last line switches on only when a shopping-visibility check shows products actually surface for your category. I measure it rather than assume it - selling a product workstream to a business with no product surface is selling a dashboard of zeros.
Stage 04
Recommendation Engineering
I influence why the model picks you.
- Comparison assets for the questions buyers actually ask
- "Best for" framing that makes the fit obvious
- Decision messaging aimed at the moment of choice
- Authority signals on the sources that feed the answer
Stage 05
Conversion Alignment
I make sure the answer-driven visit converts.
- Message continuity from the answer to the page
- Friction removed from the path they arrive on
- Trust signals where the hesitation actually happens
Stage 06
Proof
I show you the work, every month.
- What moved
- Why it moved
- What I did
- What is next
Same four questions, same order, every month. A flat month with a correct explanation builds more trust than a good month with none.
Questions.
Start at stage two.
The visibility audit is the second stage of this method, and I run it for anyone who asks - at no cost, before there is any question of hiring me.
